xtz has been holding up much better, link went from being no11, directly after xtz, to number 17, while xtz hasn't moved. In terms of market cap, xtz's higher dilution+staking make it less sensitive to price movement
In OP's, LINK is 50% more expensive than Tezos. Right now it's 33%. So they would have to both go down, but Tezos less, aka exactly what has been playing out.
