What's wrong with this? I keep my keys on an AES-256 encrypted 7-zip archive. Last time I checked, AES-256 is very good encryption.

What's the correct way to store them, then? KeePass?

I use 2 wallets. One that i believe is very likely to be compromised, but holds no crypto long/mid term. its only used to buy stuff and then transfer to my second wallet, which i never really opened. I just wrote in a piece of paper the private key and thats the only place it is stored. No file of it exists anywhere. The downside is i never sell. Just buy low and store it.
