I honestly thought it would never get any type of adoption and wtf do you do with a currency that no one uses? I was really surprised last year when I heard about the GPU prices going up because of crypto. I hadn't heard ANYTHING about it since like 2013-2014 and I just thought it died off basically lol. I still don't think there's going to be much normie adoption but fuck I never expected the price to go up that much. Somehow I didn't even think it would have a price lol and especially didn't expect it to constantly just go up and up until last year when I saw the charts and was like....oh. TFW you realize you just made the biggest mistake of your entire life not getting into bitcoin early lol. It's painful. But then again I don't think anyone really expected to go up this much either and back then there didn't seem to be any reason for it to go up so basically it was a pure gamble to buy it really.
