$27k in Tether
$27k in USD end of year (unless BTC drops even faster to the $2.5k range in which I'll jump back in for easy money)

Bitcoin needs to retest critical levels in the low 2K range before another bullrun can begin.

bitcoin is dead bro, we don't need it for the next bull run. the world isn't ready for meme-network yet. if core would have implemented bigger blocks in the interim and hammered out the LN problems first then I'd be singing a different tune, but you let chinese scammers go the big block route and now both forks are fucked.

it might take a couple years but eventually there will be enough fiat and ETH/tether or other alt and stable coin pairs to flip BTC once and for all, it's already well underway.

I'm genuinely happy about that. Makes it easier for a real successor to come about and take the throne. One that isn't a huge piece of shit with way too many inherent issues that would prevent large adoption and stability of it

true. if a good "ethereum foundation" tier team was running bcash then we'd be stuck with the incumbent for years to come, but now a dapp/smart contract platform can reign like they rightfully should.

I work in finance as a developer and IMO, the banks will never, ever let the payments market move over to cryptos. we would offer free instant transaction payment services that didn't even make money for us just to prevent losing market share, at least for domestic payments. companies like western union will probably do the same for the international payment markets and kill the only real use case for bitcoin. currently it can't even compete with credit/debit cards but it does compete with international transfers.

and even if a pure-payment crypto takes hold of some payment markets, it won't be a store of value, it will be cheap and easy for the masses. dapp platforms are the only blockchains with a future really.
