Everyone is waiting to see if 6k holds or not. Wealthy investors don't care much for anything besides BTC, they will be trying to buy up as much as they can sub 6k but will ignore alts. Volume is very thin, they may have already shaken out most of the 2017 buyers so it could go up instead.

the better question you should seriouy be asking yourself right now is "who the hell would sell below the mining price of 85% of the earth, especially when there's a triple bottom on the charts".
as you can see, not very many people will. did you seriously believe that technical analysis overrides cold, hard variables that create a firm bottom line that can only temporarily go lower for one party when they create an innovation in processing power or electricity generation, or get their hands on a lot of ASICs? really? i know you bears are genuinely retarded, but—
shit—does anybody here even know what i'm referring to, or do you all turn strictly to TA or make guesses?

Not everybody measures in sats, some people want BTC to die to let their alts take the spot they deserve. Maybe the problem we have isn't the price of Bitcoin but its dominance so we chill here and we wait for that eternal alt season that some people seem to be expecting once the leading asset dies. And I hold my shorts and I add to my shorts on every rally and we just chill here bouncing for as much time as we need. If miners have dug a hole here then maybe they've figured out how to handle their risk or they don't mind living some time underwater to buy BTC directly from the market at the price they feel is good as long as they feel at some point they'll recover their capital or maybe transactions are too good for what we deserve and they decide they don't need equipment this good. I don't know, I don't care, they'll figure it out. I guess bears are retarded but irrational markets do irrational things.

WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU AND PEOPLE LIKE YOU SO RETARDED?!?! WHY DO YOU THINK THAT THIS IS LIKE THE MARXIST THEORY OF VALUE MEME, WHICH *ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY IS* A MEME?!?!?!?!?! MINERS HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO INCENTIVE TO SELL BELOW THE COST OF MOST OF THE WORLD TO MINE, AND THEY HAVE ZERO, FUCKING ***ZERO*** INCENTIVE TO SELL BELOW THE PRICE THAT IT COSTS ***THEM*** TO MINE THEMSELVES, NO MATTER HOW FEW PEOPLE ARE BUYING AT THAT PRICE. YOU WANT BITCOIN? WELL, YOU'RE JUST GONNA HAVE TO EITHER MINE IT USING ELECTRICITY AT WHATEVER COST ELECTRICITY IN YOUR AREA IS, OR YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO BUY IT FROM THE MARKET, WHERE THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO SELL BELOW MINING PRICE, AKA ***PEOPLE WHO ARE GIVING AWAY MONEY***, ARE VERY FEW IN NUMBER AND ARE BRAINDEAD. IF THE PRICE EVER GOES BELOW $6K AGAIN, IT REALLY WOULD BE A FREAK OCCURRENCE BROUGHT ON BY ALL THE RETARDS PANIC SELLING AT ONCE.
THIS IS HOW BITCOIN WORKS. IT DOES NOT EXPIRE. IT DOES NOT WEIGH ANYTHING. IT'S NOT A BURDEN TO HOLD ONTO. IT'S NOT USEFUL FOR ANYTHING ELSE OTHER THAN STORING MONEY AND MAKING PAYMENTS, AND PUTTING MESSAGES IN BLOCKS. BARGAINING WITH FIAT FOR BITCOIN BELOW THE PRICE OF THE MOST EFFICIENT MEANS OF MINING IT DOES NOT WORK, BECAUSE BITCOIN IS ALWAYS WORTH, AT THE VERY LEAST, THE COST OF THE MOST EFFICIENT MEANS OF MINING IT. BECAUSE THE NETWORK IS ALWAYS GROWING, TO SELL BELOW THIS PRICE IS TO GIVE AWAY MONEY. NOTHING YOU CAN SAY WILL EVER CHANGE THIS UNLESS MINERS EVER WERE TO STOP MINING, BUT AS IT STANDS, MINERS ARE EXPANDING OPERATIONS, AND THEY ALWAYS WILL BE.
