Request Network to Coinbase confirmed.

Oh come on, I don't even hold REQ but anyone with half a brain can connect the dots here. All of the tokens on Paradex will be added to GDAX.

The eos token is frozen due to the token swap, that's why ot got dropped.
You seriously think they'll add your shitcoins because spank got dropped? Read the gdax listing guide.

>> No.9904071

Yeah, there is reason why they didn’t delist REQ with EOS and Spank.

>> No.9904130

Do you have a brain at all?
Coinbase CEO said that they plan to list as many tokens as possible, hundreds in the future, and there are like 5 tokens in the whole market that follow gdax listing criteria. It's obvious to anyone not braindead that those criteria do not apply to the new paradex hybrid.

>> No.9904213

>>9904089
Show me that they are heavily invested in req.
That means nothing, nice 2017 meme though.
Look, paradex isn't even available for burgers right now. They'll turn the us version into a bulletin board, fact. Nothing coinbase or gdax.

>>9904130
Lmao. You missed my point.
Read the op. "Req on coinbase confirmed".
No, there's nothing confirmed. Paradex is going to list a lot of erc20 tokens, that doesn't mean they'll end up on coinbase anytime soon if at all. And a coinbase listing requires high volume, that's part of their lisiting criteria.

Get some help man. The REQ meme mooned and now it's over.

Why could Coinbase carry REQ when pumping money into it would compete with their own product Coinbase Commerce?

Even if it was carried in some way, it be some obscure thing on Gdax Pro that normies would never purchase -- not on Coinbase proper that normies buy on the regular with the press of a button.

>> No.9904347

>>9904213
Paradex will be integrated to Coinbase Pro end of the month mate.

Is pretty much a done deal now.

>> No.9904367

>>9904213
Did I say that it's confirmed? No, I told you that it's clear that the old criteria probably will not apply to the paradex derived exchange. And you still go on talking about volume as a criteria, talk about missing points...
What we know now is that paradex has been acquired by coinbase, and that after going offline it came back with a list of coins still listed.
The fact that EOS is not there anymore does not count, since it's not an erc20 anymore.
But the delisting of spank is a clear signal that some selection has been done.
If they were to delist any of those tokens they would already have done it, instead they are still there.
Confirmed? No.
Probable? Yes.

The irony is that REQ is nowhere even vaguely near ready or capable of competing with Coinbase Commerce, who hired a team of the best professionals and financial engineers money can buy to work on implementing these features.

So while REQ will take another 2-3 years to crank out some semi-functional button that coverts on a DEX, Coinbase will have a professional product and UI ready in a matter of weeks.

REQ is dead, fucking DEAD.

Coinbase Commerce does everything better than REQ ever promised (and will never deliver in the end) and will do it months sooner, with the most volume in the world and as the most prestigious crypto organization in the world.

REQ has been entirely outclassed and out-maneuvered. It's obsolete.

Funny story, neither do the devs.

One day it's the new PayPal, the next day it's a crowdfunding app, then it's just a protocol, and then some vague platform etc. etc. ad nauseum.

I think the market has given the verdict on REQ as reflected by the price and volume:

Piece of Shit is what it is.

This is the problem with REQ moon boys. They claim REQ will do it all. It's the future of commerce. Always ask us, have you read the whitepaper? The whitepaper is a wish list of things they'd like to have. Add to that, the devs have a moving roadmap.

REQ has to start with some basic functionality it is good at first. Something it can build on. Processing crypto payments is something they should focus on. Crypto to fiat for merchants would be nice. But Coinbase Commerce and ShapeShift are starting to grab some big retailers. REQ is not used by anybody and the devs have their heads up their asses losing focus on random new targets.

Coinbase and Paradex are the same now. Look at Ron Bernstein's LinkedIn profile. Former Founder of Paradex. Currently a manager at Coinbase.

Rumor on the street is that Paradex/Coinbase is going to use b0x for shorting on 0x for long.

They're just renaming GDAX to Coinbase Pro brainlet. It's not going to be be normies to buy with the click of one button like Coinbase proper UI. And most hilarious of all, it's not going to be in the US anytime soon because they fear with these ERC-20 tokens they're dealing with securities

These aren't separate projects though. The whole point is decentralized payments and if you can do one you can do the other with the only real difference being in UI once the legal side is sorted. Most of the legal side is waiting around for approval and paperwork so why wouldn't they do both at once?

I am invested but I agree.
The sad thing is that they did it before.
Moneytis was to be a bitcoin based international remittance service and ended up being a service that simply chooses what traditional mean is cheaper for you.
Now with req they again started something without the technical competence of knowing if it's realistic, and are now "pivoting" their goals.
I sold most of my stack at a profit and i am keeping a stack in req in case they actually manage to do something good, but I am not so positive about the project as when i bought in the ico and the dip afterward.
