Because the mobile software is not ready yet. It’s still pretty useless for now because you can build apps on phones or tablets.

None of it is ready yet. Are you waiting until it's 100% done and everyone tells you to invest? I thought the goal was to be early?

Unironically this is the biggest question that /biz/ never asked itself. When people start asking this question it will be too late. My short term goal is to get rid of all my shitcoins that will be made redundant by Holo and go something like
80% Holo
20% blockchain

i found holochain in december and it still took me a good 24 hours of it being listed on IDEX before i said fuck it and went all in. so i give /biz/ a year to catch up.

I'm about 50% in. There are some other post-blockchain projects I'm extremely bullish on and want to pick up some when they become available. Gotta hedge your bets a bit, senpai.

>> No.9895026

The fundamentals are way to strong to pass up here. If you don't at least have 20% of your portfolio in this I think you're making a huge mistake.

Same.

I have RLC, LINK, and Holo. Of those, Holo is the one I want to focus on accumulating. It’s revolutionary tech with a community of developers that’s more enthusiastic than anything I’ve seen since the early days of BTC and figures to actually do what so many of the “Ethereum Killers” can’t. I like that the team behind it is focused more on building the product and a grass roots movement to use it rather than just shilling their tokens. I unironically see it being at least 500-1000x in the next 5 years and possibly even leading the next major bull run when everything’s up and running.

>> No.9896116

the reason people aren't all in on holo yet is

1) bitcoin has been in bear market, so being in any alt recently is bad timing

2) still at least a month to announcement for mainnet timing - so good chance of it not mooning of its own accord yet for at least a few weeks

My strat is to make some solid plays over the rest of June or so then go in as soon as its clear btc aint crashing too bad anymore.

Geniunely ignored it because it was a turbo pageet coin for a few weeks.
Quick run down?

>> No.9896339

Becuase the whole point of Holo is that it's not a crypto project. It will be easier to just run you Holo profile or w.e. on their apps through some cloud infrastructure if you don't want to keep your computer on rather than buying some coins that are not even that secure.

>Founders began principle work over a decade ago pre-bitcoin.
>A decentralized internet hosted by the users where 99% of the profit goes to the users (Agents)
>Capable of doing what 95% of the crypto space is trying to do, but better.
>Framework for Decentralized Applications that are peer2peer with no middle men.
>Actually decentralized. The more people that use it the more decentralized it becomes, much like BitTorrent
>Scales infinitely and capable of nearly instant transactions with no upper limit on transaction speed since the transactions are p2p (Like NANO but 100x better)
>Working Alpha and a Network that will launch soon.
>HoloPorts are a working product that will be mailed to the indiegogo investors. They will provide the initial backbone of the HoloChain Network so it can go live be decentralized right off the bat.
>Releasing a program soon that runs on your desktop to allow your PC to be a HoloPort when you're not using it.
>You will earn HoloFuel for the hosting your machine does.
>The current Holochain tokens are placeholders for a coming HoloFuel that you will exchange for once their network is open to the public.
>HoloFuel will be used to pay for the web hosting in the Holo ecosystem that allow the dApps to have web on-ramps for those who expect a website.
>99% of the hosting profits go back to the Agents who host on the network, and 1% goes to the Holo Back-end Support Team.

I am shilling the dip here. This place always gets angry when you shill something at the top. Well it went up heavily after ICO and for 5 weeks has been calming down as the price drops due to the bear market thousands have accumulated. In the coming days/weeks we will see huge up ward price movement on this. It's inevitable considering the fundamentals and the hype.

Still makes me nervous that it just came out of ICO and is at 100m mcap. But if it's truly revolutionary I guess that's a stupid way to think. This coin jumped ahead of coins like REQ and LINK within days..

100m is pretty much the standard nowadays. Don't be fooled though, we're likely buying bags. This shit will still be around in two months, it's not going anywhere during this market.
