imagine if Uber drivers begin to ONLY accept nano. VISA will be so pissed off and lose SO much money, it would be hilarious.
Currently, they are making a LOT of money. And why? Because they have a monopoly on the credit card/debit card industry.

literally what? if you're running a full node you should install it before you go to pay. paying doesn't require a full node. i've never had a syncing issue it's always about 3 seconds for a transaction to clear the network

My point is that the tx fee incentive is not enough to start using the same app with another currency.
With platforms you can create a direct competitor dapp to Uber without the 25% fee that Uber is taking every ride.
You can't do that with a non-platform currency. So even if eth had 20% tx fee, it would still be a cheaper solution.
