I dont feel like selling my cryptos for fiat or btc, I can safely hold them for years. However what should I do with my funds in BITTREX? Im thinking I should definitely sell everything into ETH, transfer it to binance and buy back or send the cryptos directly, exchange to exchange.
What do /biz/?

naw, Ethereum will tank with BTC. Vitalik even says it's overpriced for what it's intended for

I have a nice stack of ether ready which I'm not looking to sell. What I meant was using ether to transfer my whole BITTREX portfolio to BInance.

i did this a year ago, because bittrex stinks and the fees are 10 times bigger

I would have done this sooner, but I like having my stash distributed in various places. Is going all in on binance ok? Or should I move some to kucoin?

ETH has too many competitors now. I would diversify if I were you.

>> No.9809010

does anyone not remember the sec scare on eth from like 8 weeks ago. The price tanked nearly 25% on one article and there was no hearing or anything that Monday. There is no regulation or plans of regulation only fake news don't fall for this bullshit more than 2 times.

>> No.9809027

trying to regulate would only demonstrate how little they can do about this. Fud is their best option at this point. If you saw Zuckerberg get up in front of washington you can see how those people would rather age out of life than learn something new.

Like a lot of people, I abandoned Bittrex a few months ago. There is no reason to use a US based exchange anymore if you can avoid it. I still use Coinbase to make purchases with fiat but I'm done with executing altcoin trades on American exchanges, not so much because I'm worried that an altcoin exchange like Bittrex will get subpoenaed like Coinbase did, but because there is an increasingly hostile looming threat of legal issues on the horizon which might scare Bittrex's owners enough that they'd shut down abruptly.

Lots of other warning signs for Bittrex too, like the sudden suspensions of accounts last year, clunky KYC implementation etc. As long as you can still anonymously do smallish withdrawals on places like Binance, there is no reason to deal with this shit. I would advise keeping everything off an exchange altogether though if you're going dark for a while.
