Nolinkers I'm genuinely curious why you don't like/have any link tokens.
Is it because of the stupid pastas?
The fud has kept you from buying?
What's your reason?
Genuine FUD welcome.
I'll try to refute it the best way I can.

Link tokens are not securities since they do not guarantee a return of investment by doing nothing. You would need to become a node operator to get more link.

it's really, really overshilled to the point that it's super annoying to wade through all these stinky link posts and has really ruined my experience with this board.

On a personal investment level, I wouldn't put my own money in to a project that is so far out time-wise from proving itself and has low market potential at best. Even if it became a useful middleware tech company, I see little reason why the price would ever reach very high. The token supply and market cap are middling at best and it's (along with most crypto) highly overvalued already.

>> No.9783752

>I see little reason why the price would ever reach very high
As middleware, link could become a gateway for most blockchain projects that need data from API's.
API's right now are the backbone of the internet so chainlink could become the backbone of the blockchain. With that said, if developers needed to fetch data from APIs for a trustless process, node operators would be getting a lot of jobs and staked tokens could decrease the circulating supply and with demand rising the price of the token could rise very high depending on the demand.

>The token supply and market cap are middling at best and it's (along with most crypto) highly overvalued already.
Market cap is low right now because there hasn't been any marketing and there isn't demand for the token yet since the mainnet isn't out yet.
Crypto market cap is extremely undervalued, however 90% of the projects are overvalued.

Sergey took 32 mil from people that he won't even acknowledge update or communicate with.
His top coder dimitri is on permanent vacation
rory, community manager is leaving to go to full time at idex where he is also community manager
competition got their first (iota, zap, cryptlets, oraclize, and others)
We have been on ropsten for a month and have seen no testing which= no interest.
Who going to want to pay a neet node operator and gas fees when iota will do it for free
Latest I heard is sergey took a job in financial industry and chainlink is more of a hobby now
sec just said all coins that had icos are securities. especially if they didn't do kyc
There are two fucking logos and two fucking names (smart contract and chainlink) such bad business
What type of business goes dark and thinks its good for business...
i can go on and on but am tired.

Bait but I'll bite.
>Sergey took 32 mil from people that he won't even acknowledge update or communicate with.
Link tokens were meant for node operators, not for your average joes. That's why the minimum buy amount was a huge qty of ETH (100 min if I remember correctly).
There's communication in the 2 subreddits and slack. Also we have 24/7 updates on the code on the pivotal tracker and github.
>His top coder dimitri is on permanent vacation.
Dimitri is on temporary vacation right now. True.
>rory, community manager is leaving to go to full time at idex where he is also community manager

False
>We have been on ropsten for a month and have seen no testing which= no interest.
There has been activity in ropsten, you can look at the transactions in here.

False, but he is very well corrected in the financial industry.
>sec just said all coins that had icos are securities. especially if they didn't do kyc

Rory is leaving..you forgot that part...see rory manages a few communities, check out tap project or aurora idex telegram and you will see rory quite a bit...actually rory spends way more time in that community. He is leaving full time to idex because they got so big...

Its public perception and you have oraclize established, corda with working oracles and actual projects, now iota with partners announcing they will go live in 3 weeks, zap on testnet...and chainlink silent. even testnet silent

The activity you are talkking about is link faucet transfers. If you look at actual data requests there are none except for thomas and johnny.

ADVICE TO LINK MARINES
Try a pool cleaner vacuum while underwater, especially with a heated pool, it will give you the best orgasm of your entire life. the fans rapidly but gently smack the head of your dick while giving really strong suction. obviously stick your fingers in first to make sure it's safe, not every pool vacuum is the same. I've had blowjobs from 3 different women and 4 different men, I've used vacuums, cock-pumps, fleshlights, vibrators... and NOTHING compares to the pool cleaner. I'm not even fucking kidding right now, if you get the chance, try it. the only thing that is even remotely close to how good that pool vacuum felt was straight up vaginal sex with this fat chick who had a really warm snatch, it was like sticking my dick into a wet loaf of banana bread straight out of the oven, and yes this fucking pool cleaner vacuum was better than that. I don't own a pool or else I'd be doing it every day. unfortunately the owner of the pool caught me doing it so I'm not allowed to be within 1000 feet of his house anymore but it was so fucking worth it, I'm telling you that fucking pool vacuum is like heaven. honestly the only reason I even want to make it with LINK is so I can afford my own house with a heated pool and of course a pool vacuum. I can't wait to buy a dozen different brands and styles of pool cleaners and fuck them all. I live for that day to come.

Sergey's role as CEO is to run a successful company with successful products and services.
The people who bought the tokens are not investors, they are buyers of an asset which grants you access to the chainlink network. This COULD give you profits if you put in the work and run a node. Buying the tokens don't guarantee profits on itself, that's why the token isn't a security.
>When Dimitri is still gone at end of june you will better understand..i heard from multiple people he is back at loop and tie.
Rory confirmed is temporary, if Rory says anything I'll gladly accept that you're right.
>Rory is leaving..you forgot that part...see rory manages a few communities, check out tap project or aurora idex telegram and you will see rory quite a bit...actually rory spends way more time in that community. He is leaving full time to idex because they got so big...
Still false, Rory is involved in some other communities as most other crypto enthusiasts but noting full time.
>Its public perception and you have oraclize established, corda with working oracles and actual projects, now iota with partners announcing they will go live in 3 weeks, zap on testnet...and chainlink silent. even testnet silent
At least we can dispel the FUD that nobody needs oracles when other companies are trying to build their owns.

Already did and to me. It not seems like this shitcoins can reach anything those shiller said. I mean of course this could be big but y guys literally overhyped this shit way to the god of all crypto or some kind shit like that.
