Honestly the sheer amount of damage LINKies have done to /biz/ can never be overstates. It's not only the losses, but the opportunity cost. Think about the fact that a lot of LINKies (myself included) bought LINK for 50 cents and saw it reach a high of 1.30 after October, November, December, and January. When coins were going 10x left and right.

I'm the fucking loser who sold 200k Ripple for 100k LINK. Ripple then went 15x, I would have had 600k at peak, I would have probably cashed out some, rather than holding on to my LINK that is now worth 30k USD. You could have bought EOS or Cardano, or any top 10 coin in October and be way up even now.

There are other counterpoints to the FUD that raise good questions as well-- would we actually see information that allows us to specifically identify large partners testing on these Etherscan pages? e.g. an api call regarding an address like [e-mail]

Would large financial partners that tend to play their affairs close to the chest even test on a platform where everyone can see what they're doing?

The fact that the specific transaction highlighted by the infograph happens to be a test by linkpool is irrelevant in light of the larger point that there are data requests fulfilled by Chainlink on Ropsten, and that if we sift through them we will find tests that can't be pointed to as 'by the chainlink team,' or 'by linkpool.'
