The average to above average person needs external stimulation to feel fulfilled, and those people will be miserable as longterm NEETs.

Ye, kinda sucks when you don't have a job like that though. All jobs I've had felt like shit and the whole time I just waited for it to end. So to me NEET is better. At least I don't want to kill myself for 8+ hours a day. Being poor as fuck sucks though.

Every wagie I know occasionally says work is stressful, but most of them seem pretty happy and almost all of them have pretty decent girlfriends or wives.

Every NEET I know (self included) seems extremely miserable, suicidally-depressed, and is either an incel or in a gay relationship because the idea of finding female companionship is virtually impossible to them.

I know it's just anecdotal, and a lot of NEETs will lie and say they're not depressed and love the freedom... but honestly I think NEETs are all fucking miserable and lead unsatisfying lives.

It's even more about being an introvert / extrovert. Exrroverts can't stand sitting at home alone all day so they need a job not just for the money but to not go insane. Most people are extroverts I think.

When you're anxietyfag like me you're stressed as fuck and suffering even at the career of your choice. Mostly because you have to deal with people a lot at decently paid jobs.

But at least I can force myself to go, when I tried jobs i hated before i almost had mental breakdowns and quit early
