What is it about human psychology that people only want to buy into obvious scams?

Tron, EOS, Bitconnect, Verge... it feels like people enjoy delusions more than truth.

Probably less than that. People on this board always ask stupid questions that are addressed not even in just the whitepaper but in the FAQ question of the token you are investing in. This is bewildering that people are investing life savings into things without looking into anything about the project.
