100,000,000 Ether circulating, but how many are locked up due to ICOs? Is Ether going back sub ICO price soon?

Unironically, yes. EOS has cucked ETH and when the other ICOs also dump ETH it's going back into single digits. EOS number 2 on CMC by EOY. Fucking. Screencap. This.

yep dan larimer is far more intelligent than vitalik and EOS will surpass ETH.

the most ETH was sell at 97$-300$
Vitalik and foundation dont have money to buybuck all this, even daily miners sell to mach for em

Already made this prediction a while back, though I give it a bit longer of a timespan.

This is unironically true.

Vitalik's system:
>Market has constant sell pressure from ICO's cashing out
>Token is equivalent to "digital oil" in that it gets consumed, and price is 100% dictated by mining activity and speculation
>Developers need to go through the complicated and time consuming process of raising their own funds
>Full of scammers, vaporware, and amateurs, giving Ethereum a bad image and making investors less risk prone

Dan's system:
>Token has real world measurable base value in the form of computational power
>Token is equivalent to "digital real-estate" in that it never gets consumed, you can rent it out, and it naturally appreciates in value as the network and community grow in size and popularity
>Accumulated $4 billion to use as venture capitalism so that developers don't have to run ICO's, get to hand-pick who gets the money
>Investors will take more risks on projects who have gotten the block.one stamp of approval
>Still no barriers for amateur projects as there is with NEO, so while scams will exist, it will be easier for investors to detect and avoid them

Soon Ethereum will be full of nothing but scams and toy projects, while all the professional developers move to EOS, if not because of the superior technology, then because they get funding without the hassles and risks of running an ICO. The genius of Dan's system goes over most people's heads. That's why you see so many people, especially on plebbit, completely baffled at the market. They just can't wrap their tiny heads around a "vaporware scam coin" doing so much better than their own shitcoin projects. It will never stop being amusing watching idiots miss out and then blame "irrational markets" for their own stupidity.

don't forget that ETH is coded in solidity and EOS in c++. that's a big factor considering millions more people use c++ and there are way more resources to learn the code. also the airdrop funding model circumvents the SEC because money is never collected. companies can 1 to 1 airdrop coins and keep a reserve, then when the market determines the value of the coin based on the merits of the project, developers can sell for their funding. nobody risks money buying the coins initially if they hold EOS and there is an instant community.

It's better than that. EOS contracts can be written in any language that compiles to WebAssembly. Right now that's just C/C++ and Rust, but soon it will include languages like Python, Java, and even Solidity itself.
