it really seems like 95% of the community are speculators looking to make a profit. there's no technical discussion at all in r/EOS, it's the same as here where everyone just brags about how much coins they have, how much airdrops they're getting, and what the price will be EOY.

I think ETH was different because it was created during the worst bear market in crypto history so only developers and long term investors were holding it when it launched. the hype is really putting EOS under great risk with all the weak hands that are in it.
