I'm afraid you're the moron here. People didn't buy now because they expected that everyone else will buy on june 14 like robots. People bought now because there are rumors that V2 code is actually amazing and it will generate lots of hype once it's out. This is one of those cases where you buy the rumor and buy the news as well. Also this a case of FOMO as well. If V2 is really that good, nobody will see ARK at this price ever again.
