I’m quitting my job tomorrow...

>multiple false promises at current job
>make decent wage but could be better
>don’t see any real future there
>old guy practically died there a couple weeks ago
>management says nothing about it
>he worked there 7 years, yet few seem to notice or care

These people are soulless sociopaths at best. I interviewed at another place recently and it went very well, they wanted to hire me right away but I told them I should give two weeks notice. The unappreciated time the deceased coworker put in made has inclined me to just quit tomorrow. It’s not a healthy environment and I ought to just go. The other job isn’t 100% in the bag yet, but I have savings to float me if needed for a few months.

Fuck a two weeks notice... this time.

Just call off and secure the other job. Keep in mind monday is a holiday in the US, so don't give up free holiday pay!

I hear that, but I’m just going to do it quick, like ripping off a bandaid. I can afford to miss out on the holiday pay, especially if it means I don’t have to interact with them anymore

Good luck op. If it's affecting your health to stay it's not worth it as you know.

I'm in the same spot. Leaving my job with no 100% chance to be hired in the next one, but still a high probability. Life is made of changes, I wish you luck my fren
