XRP is being shilled to normies. The only purpose of crypto is for cashless digital payment and Ripple achieves this. And we know from BTC that decentralization is a a costly experiment that just isn't worth it.

XRP It already had its run. It's hard to make any money from it now and there are too many bagholders to see a profit. And by them having so many coins, they actually achieve the benefit of not being too volatile. They figured it out.

The problem with Ripple right now is that dapps will be the better investment. Otherwise Ripple is mostly just a ponzi at the moment. But it is pretty nice to be able to send money. I admit, if it was on coinbase then other shitcoins on that platform would simply stop existing for me.
