I hope attacks like this become the norm. Most of you have no idea how shoddy the technology is behind coins like this. The truth is that nearly every coin is deeply flawed in one way or another. As a rule of thumb: the further a coin's design deviates from BTC, the more likely it is to be fundamentally broken.
Make no mistake, there's blood in the water, and Verge won't be the last coin to get its shit kicked in by some script kiddie. Over the next 18 months I predict a huge swath of coins will be culled.
