Don't

Just take a look around, this board is either miserable people, larp faggots and pajeets trying to trick each other into holding each other's bags

Depends on if you're trying to make yourself a crypto-401meme nest egg or just looking for a moonshot
If nest egg, look into a Pos project that pays decent dividends like ark or zencash. Exchange tokens aren't a bad idea either
If moonshot, ignore everything that started with an ico and ignore everything >10m market cap
Yes, there are exceptions both ways. DYOR

two pieces of advice:
piece one: bitcoin cash is the real bitcoin
do your own research
piece two: pic related. bitcoin cash is the ultimate backup. as it stands, an investment in it is the ultimate guarantee that, in ten years' time, you'll have made at least tens of thousands of times your initial investment.

aside from that, monero ain't necessarily bad. ethereum is great and all, but ethereum's coming proof-of-stake model relies on projects that use eth and dapps on the eth network being attractive to users. the happening of this, of course, is not sure-fire guaranteed. in theory, good projects that use the eth network mean that staking eth to run nodes has a point and is necessary; this theoretically means that good projects are as good as intrinsic value.
the bottom line from this: eth is more risky and can pay off huge in the medium-term (sharding, casper), whereas bitcoin (cash) is as guaranteed a source of gains as your ability to hold onto it, not sell, and not give out your fucking private keys or some other brainlet-tier move.

if you want quick profits (and also a great long-term thing to sell at at your best estimate of peaks and then re-invest into down the line), sharder is one of your best bets right now. if you're interested, look up how to buy things on idex, and buy it.

finally, chainlink is not a meme.

>holding each other's bags
Better than me, i don't even have bags to hold since my eth and tokens all got hacked and stolen.
