So is chainlink just about finished? I'm no programming expert, so following their work on github and pivotal tracker can only do me so much good. I see terms like 'spike' and can only really speculate as to what it means. I'm assuming this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spike_(software_development).. Does that mean the product is mostly completed? It's hard to optimize something without a functional program.

The absolute fucking state of LINK bagholders

No, far from it.
Rory himself said it, they won‘t roll out anything that is not finished/perfect because they only got 1 chance to do it right.

check the icebox. there's plenty of work left. mainnet will be released September 2019

Imagine patrolling every single LINK thread posting pointless shit like this.

>> No.9529388

Do Linkbros think there is a private repo where they work on reputation and consensus? Because if there isn't any, we're fucked and will be waiting until EOY 2019 for mainnet.

There probably is, would explain why the NDAs exist.

>> No.9529399

>>9529365
Imagine posting retarded threads like this one. There's so many items in the icebox it would take at least 4-5 months to clear all of those out and they still haven't added any of the reputation and consensus stuff to the tracker. It'll be a miracle if they release before 2019.

>>9529388
There isn't. Thomas confirmed everything is public now.

It's well aware that a private repo exists. Possibly multiple repos.

Really? Give me some evidence.

Yeah, he confirmed that but it doesn't mean they couldn't have already done what they intended to in the private repo.

Spike doesn't mean product is finished or even nearly.

Mainnet will be out this year, most likely September. Ignore all this "tske too long" FUD

A smart person speculated that the private repo is the "Rocket Power" group connected to Cornell and IC3.

I honestly don't think it matters when mainnet comes out, the big thing is we HAVE to be in a bull market for serious gains. Seriously, every other coin that has had a mainnet launch in the past few months is barely up and 4x is realistically as high as it could go with a launch during the current market.

What smart person speculated this?

>> No.9529805

>>9529296
I will be 100% honest. Link is at least 6 months to a year away from complete. There are still 3 contracts that have not even been started. Reputation and matching will be interesting as these are new ideas and should take at least 2-3 months each once they are started. Add a month for auditing. If I had to guess I would say we see main net end of q1 2019...

>> No.9529825

>>9529364
And they only add to icebox when they plan to start within the next 2 months because they don't want the icebox to be cluttered.

See anywhere for the SGX folder?

Now here's a privete link to the SGX folder I managed to locate a while back. It's still currently being worked on.

https://github.com/smartcontractkit/chainlink/tree/219b9fbbf47587bc4cd48dcfdf77f2967ecabbad/sgx

Who knows how many other private folders exist.

>> No.9530725

>>9530305
That's not a private folder, that's in a pull request. You don't even understand how git works.
