Wow. This hits so close to home. When I was growing up I would see everyone get hundreds of bday wishes on fb. And every time it came around to my bday I would spend the entire day refreshing the page all day hoping someone would wish me a happy bday. After years of no one wishing me a happy bday some old white guy wished me a happy bday and for some reason I broke into tears.

It's all a matter of perspective
My bday was last week. Told 10 people or more to come by. Everybody went home after graduation. Only one old friend who I hadn't seen in a year came by and we caught up drinking Jameson. It was actually pretty fun.

I view it as a success in 2 ways. 1, I didn't puss out, and I went down with the ship. 2, i never had a friend over to my house before (ive always been too embarrassed of being a poorfag lmao. Possibly also some remaining anxiety of being the proverbial south park kenny growing up) so that's an improvement.
