That's the point anon.
Does anyone understand finance on this board?

By diversifying you get closer to pure market risk, and reduce the unsystematic risk of holding one particular asset (for example, reduces the risk that your one holding plummets if a CEO dies)

the reason you diversify your portfolio isn't because of performance or portfolio theory (which is a meme), it's because of liquidity issues

fucking brainlet

Biz fags don't run into liquidity issues.
I'm pretty sure these neets could liquidate their $47.56 anytime they wanted without spooking the markets.

>Diversify in the same market of useless internet coins
Diversifying means going into different funds, stocks, commodities. If you have gold stocks you don't diversify your portfolio by buying physical gold and investing in gold mining companies

...this has to be bait, right?

right?

look dumbass, it's identical for a reason. let's say you invest in 10 different coins, well now if 1 of them crashes harder than the rest (deviates from the norm), you only lose 10% of your value instead of 100% (if you only held 1 coin)

the more coins you invest in, the less risky your portfolio is. if you go all-in on a single coin, it's the ultimate risk, but it's the only way to truly go 10x or higher. that is the very reason /biz/ suggests NOT to diversify: it's better to go 10x or die trying than to make "slow and steady gains" off of crypto, which is a dying concept, and you'd be better off in stocks at this point.
