I'm starting to wonder if there's not a single person who became very rich convincing a bunch of people to hold this forever. That would have helped him a lot as he manipulated the token and raked in a few percent of profits daily, in that it would have made the result of his actions more predictable. If so, congrats to him on a job well done, people on /biz/ often fall for a coin during a week or so, but keeping this going for so long with Link was an achievement.

When main net comes out and corporations use the working product.

Sort of. People are definitely getting rich cycling periods of shilling and FUDing to eke out consistent profits. It works because Chainlink has great fundamentals, advisors, and institutional interest, and yet the team is very tight lipped about what actually is going on behind the scenes. It also works because enough people are easily manipulated into buying high and selling low like the sheep they are

Don't really know what to think at this point though.
For somebody to larp and shill Link on /biz/ expectimg to scam us out of our shoes seems unworthy.
Link went up and down with Btc basicly.
The main problem I see here is the team didn't deliver at least Req style. Some proof of work would be comfy, I guess. This shit with getting lost in details and wanting to release mainnet when everything would be in place seems a bit wrong. Release something and we'll work from there..
Meanwhile oracles are popping like mushrooms after rain.

I might just be dumb but doesn't the utility of EOS make this coin basically useless. If you can directly create apps on the blockchain what's the point of oracles?

They’re really behind on development according to the pivotal tracker. Some other company will beat them to the punch so I recommend market sales of your stack

I'm actually one of the suckers who bought it at that price. Then I asked myself what the fuck I was doing and sold soon after for a very slight profit. (Just checked, bought at $1.09 and sold at $1.12 and $1.17.)
