Have 1 million of links, 100 k of arks and 2k of neo, plus 10 k of pivx.
Since I am old fag, my investment strategy is to invest based on meme strength index. All my investments are from /biz/ because if a coin will succeed, first it will be shilled on /biz/. Trump coin, Signatum, chain coin, ants, ark, pivx and so on were shilled here first on.
For example I bought ark at 0.18 cents, link at 0.18 cents at ether delta and so on. Of course it doesn't mean it will moon because it is shilled in here, but if shilled coin has good fundamentals, it will moon. I mean go to Wikipedia and read about smart contracts. In critique part of article it mentions a lack of oracle's. The problem perceived since inception of blockchain.
The only way chain link can fail if someone is better than them. It's like investing into internet retail shops in 90's. If you bought amazon's stocks, you have won a lottery. You knew that internet shops will be a future, but didn't knew which one.

Here are my reason for holding. Smart Contracts is the future especially in the financial markets like deriatives, insurance, bonds etc. API economy is going to be big. Biggest bottleneck righ now is the working oracle. Dapps will call these Oracle APIs to get the data from real world. Decentralized Oracle solves that problem. Chainlink is well positioned to take this market. Other Competitors are far behind or not at the same level. Chainlink can have first mover advantage and with the likes of Ari Juels and company it has more credibility. Sergey as a CEO is very sensible and down to earth person. He genuinely seems to be motivated in bringing the Smart Contracts into mainstream industry by solving its most difficult problem. He envision a world where the politicians and people in power will run smart contracts to deliver on their promises and commitments. Simply put, I am invested in Chainlink because of the and the technical challenge it is solving based on whitepaper. The upside is tremendous compared to the downside. Its the only asymmetric investment I can think of in crypto market right now compared to all other shitcoins. The anti hype policy of the Chainlink team is what I love the most as it allows me to accumulate more at these price level. It is only coin in my portfolio which I become happy when the price goes down.
