Me too anon. I decided to go all in on IOST a while back, sold the top luckily, only to buy back in and immediately suffer a 25% total loss. My whole portfolio's been hit and I feel like a total dumbass selling my iExec stack at 2.3 and fomoing in at 2.5.

These are arguably the worst, and most critical decisions that have negatively impacted my portfolio.

down like 75k in the last couple weeks. I'm numb to it all at this point

>> No.9492833

Yup. Down 30% from three weeks or so back, was profits, but still feel like a fucking retard. Once again at the point where it's, a hopeful bounce, but more likely a full retraction to early April levels. I should cash out temporarily, but I'm too stupid to do that.

I made a thread about this. We all fell for the ponzi scheme

Basically everyone is waiting for a bull run or pump so they can dump and leave with gains

Which is why it won't happen

Daily reminder 99 percent of you will sell when you have to. Not because you want to

You'll exit the market at a loss , never for a gain. Because when you are gaining you will get greedy and want more

When you have been dumped on time and time again you'll die inside and say fuck it, and try to save yourself.

I am willing to bet this is the case. It is psychological JUST

Early adopters are the only ones who were rewarded.

Down 40k since all-time high, down 4k (25%) this week. Worst part is, I've been in bitcoin since 2012 but have been riding on my gains the last five years while in college and am still a poorboi

I've been getting justed nonstop for two weeks. There's a coin I believed in that kept tanking, so I kept putting more in it until I was all in. Well, it kept on tanking. I'm confident it will go back up if the market isn't dead (it has good support where it is now, which is the lowest point it was since March...) but I've had better days.

I do take profits, but the main problem I keep running into is this: the whole market moves in sync. If I take profit from coin A because it's high and put them into coin B because it's low, that works. But after two or three times, every single coin in the market seems to be equally inflated, so even if you take profit from coin B and put it in coin C because it's at a relative low, coin C will likely still be pumped as fuck when you compare to where it was at the start of the market cycle and so when things crumble again, no matter where you moved your profits, it will all go in freefall and the losses will just vary slightly from coin to coin, no matter what coin you're in.

The only way to avoid this would be to take profit and put them in a stable coin (USDT, TUSD, LINK, etc.) but when you're a relative poorfag trying to compound on your gains, it's not very tempting to just freeze a large part of it until the next dip (and even then if it's a true dip, and even if you layer your buys, you're likely to end up buying before the complete floor, which mean you will still lose money).

Kind of rambling, but when the whole market moves as a whole, no matter if you take from one pile to put it in another, when the whole ship sinks, it takes everything with it.

Whole Market moves with Bitcoin. If bitcoin goes up alt goes 2 times bitcoin price. If bitcoin goes down, altcoin goes down 2X. If bitcoin goes side ways, alt coin goes much higher.

You can take solace that because you held, and did not sell at the top, you don’t owe as much taxes now as you would have. Always a silver lining
