Markets are not as simple as that, if you could zoom in on that chart there's a lot of action than it actually shows.
We're actually somewhere behind denial and the panic will set in once we again break the support at 7.9k.
Lets say that depression is around 3k like most traders predict.

And yes I know that we already hit 6k and people think that's the depression but we've actually done the same exact movement in 2014 where it took months to get to that same level (6k for this cycle) and people were actually thinking it already bottomed out while it actually didn't and just continued to bleed for a long time below $200.
