sup fags, I need all of you to do me a favor. Tomorrow, BAT is presenting at a conference that coinbase will also be at. Not saying anything just yet, however, I really think you should look up Eich's tweet from August 7th, 2017. Hint: Google: Eich Tweet "no we are Already Partnered with"

>> No.9473437

He tweeted several times implying he was just about to be listed on Coinbase too, BAT pumped each time and it never materialized.

>> No.9473491

>>9473437
Right, and Armstrong said BAT was the type of token he wanted to add in 2018, but the words he said confirm a partnership with coinbase, even if they aren't listed now, they have a partnership

>> No.9473597

How to fuck do bat threads get no Bites? Bat was up 20% today but still get no love. It may not get an antshares return, but $100 end of two years is do able

>> No.9473627

I love bat, I can put it in a wallet and forget about it, don't have to worry about an exit scam or some Chinese fake file in the blank, easy money

>> No.9473685

>>9473386
the thing about bat is, brave is shit
content producers that track adblockers automatically block brave. Plus it doesn't seem as fast as chrome for some reason.

Also, why would someone give away their BAT if they can just pocket it instead?

>> No.9473713

tell me why would you buy BAT for a premium on an exchange when you can buy it directly in the brave browser?
currently 100 BAT = 35 USD

>> No.9473733

>>9473627
Yeah. except that the entire project is literally fucking pointless and is shoehorned onto the blockchain.

Sending and exchanging BAT is way too fucking hard for normies and content creators.

>> No.9473743

>>9473685
what?

What the fuck are you even talking about?
>content producers that track adblockers automatically block brave

Pewdiepie or similar creates content on Youtube. Brave distributes payments directly to Pewdiepie from Brave users.

Where do adblockers come in?

>> No.9473755

>>9473733
if you'd actually ever used Brave you'd see it happens automatically.

You will eventually be able to buy BAT with your debit card on the browser

>> No.9473931

this holds no ground. Eventually there will be an entire ecosystem revoled around this stuff

Lets imagine you are browsing the internet looking at crypto articles. You see an article on washingtonpost.com. It says, sorry please turn off your ad blocker. Then youre supposed to dig through all the settings just to reenable ads? It need an onscreen option!
Same thing happens on 9anime.is. You would know this if you were a proper biz incel.
Using an alternate browser is immediately not worth it at the first sniff of inconvenience. Brave has to be exponentially bettter than chrome to get people to use it, it absolutely cannot afford to be any worse.

OP here, switched browsers to brave, was testing on chrome earlier

good wasn't aware if it gave different user id on different browsers

TO answer your question though, think of the benefit of having built in TOR built right into the Browser. Brave is gonna kick Chrome's ass, Eich did it before, he could do it again

Except that it's not. Go back to your shitty PRL bags nigger.

You realize the major draw to Brave is that it has an integrated cryptocurrency as part of the browser, right?

Everything else is a bonus.

If you honestly believe in crypto + blockchain, there's no reason to be a diehard "I'm never switching from Chrome!!!" faggot. It's actually really funny to see people so anti-Brave when it's such an awesome use-case for crypto and if it works out it's taking us forward into a new type of internet that benefits the users as much as the advertisers.

>> No.9474571

I've been browsing with brave for maybe 6 months. Not a single complaint.

Bat doesnt need to be shilled. It will be one of the coins that rise due to use, not hype. The price has recovered nicely this year, and there was no fake announcements like most coins.

Just buy whatever you can out away for 1 year, and come back to free money. One of very few coins were the risk is tiny.

There are going to be tons of different use cases - using it to pay for premium content (like WSJ, instead of buying a subscription), using it to donate to content creators, streamers, youtubers, hoarding it, buying shit, etc.

Advertisers will have to buy it for their ad campaigns. Read the white paper or visit the BAT reddit. It's a very active team with news just about every week. Comfy coin to be Bullish about.

What's to stop the more popular browser providers from stealing the idea and incorporating similar functionality in their own browsers?

BAT is, albeit interesting, incompatible with Coinbase for two fundamental reasons:

1. Brendon Eich is a major, major homophobe, and Coinbase, being a San Fransican based company likely has many LGBTQIA+ employees who would go on strike were BAT added

2. The price of BAT is to be kept under one dollar as laid out in the Brave White Paper. This is a basic, basic principle established in that white paper.

it would be financial suicide for chrome, and firefox could potentially do it, but their open source community would likely boycott seeing as how they freaked out over firefox ads. Im sure theres more reasons than that such as having to build out the whole system and ui. Its not easy to just copy the whole thing like you might believe.

BATS located in san francisco you pleb, this copy pasta is almost 2 years old.
