Is there a private repo?

if we really want a pre-mainnet pump that isn't reliant on a btc pump we'll need to get redditors, self styled crypto gurus, and big name crypto youtubers to begin buying into the link lore

/biz/ has complied a lot of circumstantial evidence that big business is already in bed with chainlink, that it's an industry token from the ground up, and that it will be one of the biggest drivers of the 4th industrial revolution. if this info can be conveyed in a convincing, normie friendly manner to these parties we have a good shot at a serious pump

Yes and no. yes its too long, but also no its not because you're not going to hook most of them on your first try. its about getting multiple exposures so that the frequency makes them start to think there's something to this coin since they're seeing it more often. people have a confirmation bias like that, where once they're aware of it they'll see it everywhere. starting early is just about opening their eyes to what you want them to see so they'll start to notice it more elsewhere.

whoever mentioned targeting redditors and self proclaimed gurus is onto the right idea. you don't want to go full retard shilling this early, but aiming to get the name and idea popping up in front of people with an audience in the space can help lay a foundation.

no idea. I haven't been on facebook for years and I don't browse /r/cryptocurrency. trying to slip shit into /r/cryptocurrency about the importance of oracles for smart contracts (try to keep it fresh content, not old shit) would be a start since they're normies who ostensible like crypto which narrows it down. post shit about smart contracts, but write it like the company name to help keep some fresh results in search when people look up their name (even if its not really about them). post shit about Ari Juels' projects without mentioning LINK so that closer to mainnet you can be like "TIL Ari Juels helped write the Chainlink whitepaper" or some shit.

think outside the box. think about what made YOU love LINK and reverse engineer it, and start with the basics. what is a smart contract? what is an oracle? why are they important? what can you use them for and who's thinking about using them? you don't need to mention LINK, just set the stage so when you do they fill in the blanks themselves and go "holy fuck this is big".

this is a great starting point. if we can get the word out about how smart contracts will drive the next big leaps in crypto adoption and how the oracle problem stands in the way of this people will naturally arrive at chainlink. the "a-ha" moment of realizing chainlink is the solution will not be spoiled by direct shilling. it is the problems that chainlink solves and the benefits that it unlocks we should be shilling

exactly. come out swinging hard about chainlink specifically when there's sitll months until mainnet and you'll make the project look dumb since it'll keep trading sideways. but shill how big a deal smart contracts/oracles are and are going to be through the rest of 2018 and it helps make future shilling stickier. otherwise LINK is just another literal who project that means nothing and has no skateboard.

fortunately people seem to be more interesting in oracles now than ever before so playing into that angle may find traction.
