Both led to them driving fucking sales and retention into the ground, leaving the product suite that was used to rot. They literally could have turned the organiation into a golden goose if they had just surveyed what customers were using and developed the industry standard around that. I’d be rich right now if those cunts could listen to reason instead of placating fee fees.

Finally had enough one day of being the scape goat for my boss. She threw me under the bus to her higher ups and I gave my two weeks the same day without having a job lined up

She spent the next two weeks apologizing and asking me to stay. Got hired at a new place and started two weeks later. It started off as less money bit had more opportunity and way less hours.

Worked s engineer for a fairly large manufacturer. Place was an old boys club and there was a lot of nepotism. I left after I was denied a promotion and then a 2 months later some sales exec's kid end up getting the job.

I quit and got the same position I was denied at their biggest competitor. Now I work every day to drive them into the dirt

Anyways, I consider myself a very intelligent person, and can't stand when unintelligent people lie to make themselves look smart, which describes the CEO to perfection.

One day I was giving a presentation regarding a potential partner and did the math to show it was do-able. The CEO said something along the lines that he had the same conclusion and that it was simple math.

I asked him if he had business calculus skills. He said of course, or else he wouldn't have come to the same conclusion I did.

Only problem was, I was using algebra, as shown on the Power Point.

Left that place in a hurry.

i came in on a friday and got a sit down that i was getting a 30 day punishment for coming in late. they wanted me to email them every time I came in and left the office.
i'd been coming in at 10 and leaving at 6 instead of 9 to 5.
was taken by surprise, but the pieces started coming together, the lead was kind of a control freak and before I left there were 3 other people that had left within weeks, but they wouldn't say why.
i'm normally pretty punctual but for this job it literally didn't matter a single bit as i didn't miss meetings or calls or shit. so i went to lunch, thought about it, then quit on the spot.

I did it for my gap year and can tell you it was an awesome job, got to travel heaps (fires, training, meetings). The park I was in was 1 hour from town, so at least 2 hours of the day was just driving. Beautiful scenery

it was a small marketing agency that spent more than 50% of its time in meetings or creating documents for how to do things. It probably sounds like I'm exaggerating but this guy had this bizarre autism around processes and documenting things such that nothing ever got done. Actual results were irrelevant all that mattered was documenting and recording things and creating processes and reviewing processes and having meetings about processes

one day I'd just had enough and quit without another job to go to. Ended up using the same skills I learned there to start a supplements business and now I make $$$
