eth. All you have to do is look at the companies and organizations apart of the ethereum alliance to come up with that conclusion, and than compare what ever bitcoin has. (Hint, its practically nothing)

I'll take the btc. It's simple and the oldest and most secure network, so the safest bet.

>assuming the demand would be the exact same for each coin so you only look at supply

The absolute state of biz. I never really post here anymore but if you don't seriously see that eth has a greater chance at eclipsing btcs market cap by now than you don't deserve to make it.
1mb blocks, lightning network is a meme, satoshi coins can move the entire market at anytime, not to mention that its PoW is going to be unsustainable and it will probably be the cause of its demise - when hash power drops so low that it becomes unprofitable to mine, essentially chain death

List goes on. I think it's time to realize that bitcoin will probably not be the world currency because it cannot scale. It may have a niche in replacing gold for a couple decades, and that is my honest, probably generous prediction

I would pick bitcoin but I think a lot of people will switch to ethereum mainly because its different and new to most new people, but BTC will grow probably more because almost everyone still keeps some BTC and normies usually go all in BTC first.
