My understanding is that what that Azure developer was talking about on that medium post was the implementation as oracle service for contracts on ETH. But there are different contracts at different levels of abstraction and the core adapters would be for BTC, ETH and Hyperledger, it's not completely necessary to use the ETH network to pay for LINK even if it was an ICO for an ERC20 token and most ETH nodes aren't even full nodes anymore. But I don't know if the contracts need to go through ETH at some point anyways, it sounds like it would be betting on the guarantee of nothing bad ever happening to ETH ever and we can't really go a year without something fucking up. I don't know mang, I don't care that much about how high it goes up, just hope it goes up, I'm tired as fuck and I'm going to sleep.
