I've been thinking recently about a parallel universe where Sergey and the team take the VeChain approach. SIBOS last October is instantly followed by a huge marketing drive. Sergey announces a "partnership" with SWIFT, and a couple of weeks later withdraws that announcement after SWIFT says "It was just a PoC, tone it down". reddit is instantly on to it, suddenly everyone is talking about oracles without really knowing what they are. Chainlink announces a tiered node system where you are guaranteed more jobs on the network if you have more than 20k staked in a node. Chainlink hits $50 during the December madness and then comes back down to $20 as the market cools. All the /biz/tards who pooled together for the presale, and who beat reddit to the punch pre-SIBOS, have made fat stacks and have already moved on to the "next big thing". Newfags come and say "I missed ETH, ANS and LINK, what's next?"

I think of that universe and then I think of this one, and I know it sounds stupid but I like this timeline. The retardation, the meming, the solidarity, the wojaks, the larps, the ridiculously speculative partnerships, the deep digging. None of it would have happened if Chainlink had just turned on the hype machine from the start. It's been a fun ride, linkbros, and fuck it, we're all going to be rich soon enough anyway.

What is OP's pic interpretation?
-The one on the left with a lot of money, cant see link, but they don't miss anything because he has it anyway?
-The one standing on books only represents the one that did "DYOR" and sees how big the LINK world may get?
-The one standing on books and money has to be the well informed guy that sees the whole picture that did research, has money in it and made it befor and is about to make more money because of his research?
-The one standing on ground is plebbiter that never ever heared of LINK and will only know about it when it's out and $100 each?
-Sergey standing on LINKcubes in the world he creates/created watching at the beauty he did build up with his team?

it portrays the boundaries and limits that we impose upon ourselves in life. some men are learned, some men are rich. some men are neither, some men are both. the man that possess both knowledge and wealth has the best view out of the glass window of the world, yet, he is still incaged in a concrete block, a paradigm which contains all he is aware of and has experienced. he stares out of the concrete paradigm and plans for his future where he fully experiences the world outside. he dreams of the next weekend, but he never does anything different on them. he constantly lives his life in a future that is not locked to him by time, but only by the restrictions that he imposes upon himself. the concrete cube represents these restrictions. almost all men are trapped within the concrete paradigm, reigning from the lowest quality of men to the highest quality. very few men are able to step outside into limitless world that is right in front of us. in the picture, such a limitless man is depicted as sergey of nazarov - standing tall on blocks of his own creation, molded by his untarnished vision, unchained by self imposed restrictions, and master of all he surveys.
