People are butthurt about the nChain patents, but fail to realize that none of the patents are on the base protocol level. It's all shit that is built on top of it. Of course a business will patent its own IP. nChain is pure genius for letting their patents be used for free, but ONLY on the BCH chain. Anything revolutionary they come up with will only be used on the BCH chain. Of course, since it will be open for anyone to see and use, there will be copy cats on other chains, but the point is no large business entities will breach a patent to use a service on another public chain.

If you don't like it, make your own patents, innovate yourself, and compete.
