You will NOT receive the Genesis "Stamp" on your tokens. You will never have the ability to ever again get Genesis Stamped EOS tokens after june 1.

Genesis Token privileges are vast and the idea behind is to reward true believers who will put their funds on the line for EOS through what some believe to be a risk or a missed shorting opportunity, or both.

You theoretically do run a higher risk but the reward may be far greater than shorting a potential dip around the time of mainnet.

Genesis Tokens move you first to the line in any airdrop or fork with the possibility for non-genesis (NG) tokens to not even receive certain airdrops/forks or they may get less, while Genesis Tokens get access all the airdrops and forks, as one example.

I liken it to VIP tokens. You'll still get a lot of stuff with non-genesis tokens but if you want access to everything you are going to need mainnet genesis block tokens that were used to launch EOS. This was created to entice people to help launch the network, because if everyone thought it was too risky, it wouldn't have enough votes for it to launch.
