if a coin do on or off chain scaling/tx the dumb mass wouldn't even know the difference.
They just follow all the sheeps and thats it, the coins that are already well known will continue to dominate.

Whats makes XRP a good bet is not its intrinsic properties as a digital asset. It works but so does BTC, ETH etc. and even fucking dogecoin. What is going to separate coins in the future is their front end experience for users/industry. XRP has Ripple (and now Coil) that are dedicated companies building front end software that plugs into the XRP ledger.
