It looked like a good buy at 3.5k sats as well. but REQ never fails to dump lower than you expect. I honestly don't know if it's whales suppressing the price or legit no buy pressure, but very few coins have performed this badly in this bear market. This all in spite of pretty good fundamentals.

>> No.9421064

When's the last time REQ tokens were burned? I found it pretty interesting that the burn procedure doesn't occur until someone calls the function. I would have thought someone would have called it by now even just to randomly test stuff. Unless I'm misunderstanding it all.

Maybe people are trying to suppress the price to an optimal point so that they can burn as many tokens as they can?

>> No.9421071

Honestly REQ should have never released mainnet instead they should have focused on partnerships and adoption for a year and have all features ready such as BTC/ERC20 and fiat support before releasing mainnet.

This way the burning and userbase would have been high from the start and the REQ tokens would not drop as they have done now due to still having speculative value.

I should have cashed out in December and gone into retirement to Thailand or something.

>> No.9421087

>>9421064
you can test stuff on the testnet. The last token burn was 8th of May. Also if you really want to test it in practice with real tokens you could just burn a really small percentage so only 0.000001 REQ gets used to test your stuff.

The tokens that got burned are likely from real transactions of dumb things like REQ merchandise T-shirts and bullshit like that.

Yes I’m sure all the organizations using REQ will decide to switch over to a vigilante network instead of dealing with the team that created it with connections in the first place.

How many companies are using knockoff products instead of MS Office? When you spend time building out a platform and shaking hands before full functionality is complete, you prevent this situation from happening.

0.5-.05% fees are almost nothing compared to every other payment processor, and a small price to pay for the peace of mind of a team that will continue to add to and update their network.

How many people are developing on smart contract platforms other than ETH even though they’re technically faster and have other advantages? Oh right, hardly any, because ETH established themselves as a name to trust.

I fucking kek at retards thinking zill, EOS, ADA, any of these other “better” Ethereums will actually take it over any time soon. I bet these same people are the ones saying “someone will just copy REQ”

It clearly shows how they have no idea how business works, and think that everyone immediately restructures their business to jump onto the latest and greatest. Companies will wait 5+ years many times before upgrading ANY of their software.

So yes, someone can probably copy REQ, but it would be a knockoff done by some pajeet, and they wouldn’t even make money off it by requiring 0 fees. Nobody that matters would use it over the original.

Not the point of the argument dumbass. The focus was that someone could copy REQ. This would only concern people if REQ is successful because it would cut into their market share.

Whether or not they have people using it now doesn’t factor into what I said, because if REQ does fail and isn’t needed, someone copying it wouldn’t matter in the slightest.

So do you have an actual response to my argument? You’re doing a poor job of fudding considering you have none.
