the consensus seems to be that chainlink mainnet will be released around september, but is there any basis for this estimate? how long does it usually take crypto projects to go from testnet to mainnet?

Deadline for the psd2 directive

PSD2 will become applicable as of 13 January 2018, except for the security measures outlined in the RTS. These will become applicable 18 months after the date of entry into force of the RTS. Subject to the agreement of the Council and the European Parliament the RTS is due to become applicable around September 2019.

Yeah, they have been delivering about a month earlier than deadlines, so I think that it's likely that by the end of july we will have had substantial development for mainnet 1.0 to be released.

This. I expect mainnet before these deadlines but not anytime sooner.

I have a contact within the CL team who says it will be mainnet late November

dumbass question but PSD2 seems to be only for EU banks. North America does not give a fuck about open banking really

Kek that is why your banking system sucks.

I work for a large financial institution, our contract with link stipulates no later than end of September for main net.

nice folio anon. I would maybe consider dumping some monero & eth and holding at least 1 btc for the next bull run. You're going to make it either way though. Congrats

Lol don’t you guys get charged if There’s too little in your account, which can then be charged, putting into overdraft, increasing the penalty payments?

You guys have been cucked for so long you don’t even realize it

I don't disagree

it's true. But I think big banks have more power here. Banks in Canada basically have a monopoly (only 5 big banks).

That's a safe portfolio anon but Monero will not moon nearly as much as some other less well known projects during the next alt szn.
Look into picking up OCN for a short-term trade as the lead hypeman confirmed there'll be a big announcement next week, probably about the airdrop. FSN is my most solid medium hold. DJ said to watch for a big announcement on May 17 after a daylong event with the Fusion team and all their advisers in the finance sector.
Lastly, RLC is looking good for the next week.
