The adoption of smart contracts on the NEO chain is rather slim as it's fairly expensive to deploy a contract.

At the very lowest I would put it on 25 cent per MCT as well. Longterm I see it for half the price of GAS though.
They plan to use it for hashpuppies as well, which should give it a decent valueboost as well.
