Read up on divergences and how to trade them. I would be down to go into more detail about how exactly I trade, but it’s something I’d rather do on Twitter or somewhere else than here where the thread will be gone in a few hours.

But i don't get your C-CLAMP

this is my setup but I'm always eager to improve my setup.

Priority
1/ trend reversals - weak trends - strong trends.
When a trend ends, when a new trend begins.
Using
-candle analysis
-divergences as OP mentioned
-Volume at time analysis with just normal volume bars.

Support and resistance
I use volume at price - high volume - low volume for measuring support and resistance.

I can't invest more fiat and I only managed to double my money since January(yeah I'm the newbie that bought the top).
Weirdly enough I doubled in fiat but more than doubled in sats.
I am too much of a brainlet to call the top for some reason. But I'm good at calling the bottoms. The result? Most I make is 20% on a flip.
And most of the times not even that. I seem to miss the top. I buy on a very fucking bottom and just fail to hold till the top or fucking hold too long.

I am still perfecting my system.
I can predict with good accuracy where price will consolidate using volume nodes.
However whether the support will hold is difficult.
I am using orderbooks - sentiment - orderflow to check if the support level will hold upcoming hours.
It's tricky because a large order could be a spoof.
Sentiment is largely affected by orders on the orderbook and they can be faked / spoofed.
Orderflow = tricky large sell/buy walls can be faked by bots.

How can you tell if a level will hold or not?

>> No.9369305

>>9369137
It's basically an indicator that determines the balance of power between buyers and sellers. It's on tradingview if you use that for charts. If positive it generally means there are more buyers and if negative more sellers. It's pretty useless on its own since it zigzags up and down so frequently but if you apply an sma to it it can be helpful to see the general trend and strength of buyers and sellers for the coin. I also only use daily candles so not really sure how it works on lower time scales.

I didn't look at any of his guides so don't know and its ok 100% of /biz/ is a community member for some shitcoin.

I seem to have the opposite problem as you so if you want to return the favor and let me know how you pick the bottoms that would be appreciated.

>> No.9369619

>>9369305
Shit. I don't use TA. And I'm not sure if it all won't sound like a gibberish to you but I'll try my best. Here it goes:
To me the bottoms are just obvious. Like they are static.
But what I use is the band's bollean?
And RSI and sma(simple, Binance ones)
I use 1h, 4h and 1 day but also 15,30 min candles.
I just put a line to see where the big pump started, add around 30% to that. Then I look at the previous dumps and how much the bottom was different from the initial pump in percentage. Then:
It depends on a coin, but they all move in patterns on the bollean? band's.
Sometimes they go up and down on the upper part of the bands( it's the small tops and bottoms) and sometimes they cut straight from top to the bottom (obviously that's when it really bottoms out). If I can see that the previous pump and dump that resulted in a big bottom corresponds with this drop on the band's( the big drop), then I look at how it happened (the actual candle pattern on all of the timelines).
I do the same with SMA (the simple, Binance one 7,20,99)
Then compare the numbers.
If the previous bottom was the green dildo +x percent and it corresponded to the candle on 5,15,1,4 h touching whichever SMA and it has a simmilar pattern to the one happening now, then I just recalculate the new bottom.
Also I look at the volume at the time of the previous dip, the volume leading to it and after.
Sometimes I investigate a couple of big dips first.
And at the end I go to 12h and 1 d candles and asses it also
I probably sound like an idiot to you but that's really what I do.
There's more to it, because I do it on alts mostly so I have to consider BTC movements.
In my opinion market is manipulated to shit on the shitcoins, so when I'm doing all of this I assume the people who are manipulating it have a system and want to make x% gains. That helps.
It works for me 90% of times. It's tedious and I'm sure there are 100x better methods than this.

>> No.9369656

And thank you so much for your help.
Sorry that I can't really help back, but I'll learn and then I'll be able properly describe what I'm doing.

>> No.9369745

>>9369305
There is a coin that I play and that method works 100% of times. It has an extremely low volume and you can see the pattern only on 1h candles.
They like even numbers. So the candles end on 0 or 5 and they take even drops. If they got the coin up 100 sats it's going to dump first 60-65 sats then up a little and then down to where the pump started +5 sats.
The coin is on a very very even increase thanks to that. It does this crazy pumps sometimes to bring it a notch higher but looking on 1h candles it's super obvious what they are doing. You can't see it on any other time frame.
They literally had a 3 sat red 1h candle because the previous candle finished at 102 sats.....
