How does it work with copyrighting of YouTube usernames / channels.

I want to start a channel with the name "MaxifyMedia"

The thing is their is a consulting firm with a domain as www.maxify.com

Also Canon has a printer line with the name Maxify?

Would either of these companies cause me any hassle if I just started the YouTube channel and also made the domain www.maxifymedia.com?

Or am I just over thinking all of this and rules don't apply?

You aren't competing with any of them so I doubt they'll care, check if maxify is trademarked or even message the consulting firm and ask if they're okay with you using the name, screen shot the reply incase they turn on you if you get big though
