amazingly it is not THAT difficult. Core work is going on right now building a team of developers that are working because they like what they do, not to pump the price sky high. Step one is to build the basic infrastructure and make the code as reliable as possible. Anyone who has been around cryptonote for some time knows that the base code has issues. I.E. bytecoin devs exploiting issues to mine billions of coins then dumping them onto bagholders. The network and the daemon are subject to problems at low hashrate. While allowing asics would have increased network stability, it would have also allowed the network to become possibly centralized. So the decisions to shut out nicehash and asics was made. Currently there are 4 web wallets in development which should be available in the next week or two. Rewriting the entire base code in GO is also being worked on. Once the rewrite is done and the network is stable at any hashrate, you will see private smart contracts.

Turtlecoin is one of the few projects out there that truly is looking far down the road, not just pumping as fast as possible. No investors, or stake holders to answer to for ROI. Just people doing what they love to do. I would be shocked if the price went past 1 satoshi in the next year or two and I am ok with that because 10 years down the road when it is Thursday and I am climbing out of my Thursday Lambo at the strip club, I will be looking back and laughing at all the people that sold their turtle coins at 1 sat.

Evidence for this? Turtle isn't the only cryptonight based coin that is intending to implement smart contracts. https://dero.io/ looks like they might be further along with the idea.

>Coupled with the fact a bunch of biz mined the first couple days silently there are guys out there with very heavy bags, waiting to dump at two sat.
There was no 'silent mining'. The coin was launched and people started mining, no premine bullshit.
Look at the emission curve, even with very heavy mining in the early days there is no way to have a large percentage of the total supply.
heavy bags implies that you invested a lot of money, not that you have a large amount of a coin.

>This coin will never rise above 1 sat with that druggie rocky as dev.
It was 2 sats just a couple of days ago.

The keylogger fud goes all the way back to BitMonero, and monero survived it just fine. The 1 trillion supply issue presents an interesting point about divisible units. And implementing smartcontracts on a cryptonight based coin is the fud of people who are wannabe developers.
Turtle has a 10,000+ large discord, is a top forty coin as measured by developers score on CoinGecko, and has the power of meme magic on its side.
The issue for people on this board is they have meme'd about buy high, sell low so much it has become truth. Biz won't be interested till it hits 100 sats, and then they will FOMO in, as is tradition.

Devs shoulda listened to the whales tho, instead of letting them dump their bags down to 1 satoshi.

Community is full of retards tho, back before they forked to be asic resistant, people would ask what pool to mine to and every idiot on the reddit/discord would recommend the pool that had over 75% of the hashing power because "it pays out the fastest!" (even tho you get the same amount, just bigger payouts that take longer to payout). Also the cringey "how to be a good trtl" shit from the devs.

There is a few things that can happen. If volume falls below a certain threshold and stays there the exchanges might delist it. This is pretty unlikely in my opinion.
The bulk of the volume could move to different currency pairs, like DOGE/TRTL, where you have can effectively trade turtle for less than the value of 1 sat. Also pretty unlikely I think.
If the bulk of the volume stays on the BTC/TRTL pair then it can't really fall below 1 sat.
