Decentralization has its uses and it's a great dream, but being pragmatic and wether we like it or not, banks and institutions are still needed in some shape or form and they will not go away soon. They will use Ripple.

Why would you put all your eggs in the decentralization basket? If you were investing purely on principles, putting money on Monero or BTC is arguably just as morally questionable as they are used in underground markets where blood has actually been shed. If you want to do truly support decentralization, take the money you make and open a real world business that takes only decentralized crypto, but not investing is the impractical approach.

Having some Ripple is basically hedging the risk on your BTC/ETH/Whatever bet with a good chance of both actually winning.

Donate the $100 to whatever charity you like.
