If somehow mainnet doesn't come out until EOY then I wouldn't expect fireworks in terms of price, because people who are here for the tech are already invested in link, others won't jump in just based on some dev progress, the singularity won't happen until mainnet/partnerships/income from nodes. Sure we may go to 1-2usd if some crazy bullmarket comes and pushes everything up but it's not gonna be exclusive to link
