If I had bought coins a year ago in 2017 I would have already made it. Every shitcoin under the sun experienced exponential gains. It was so easy for anyone to just throw a dart and hit a 10x at minimum. Dips were few and far between no matter how bad the news headlines were. These rare dips were quickly bought up so it didn't even require patience to make it, just dumb luck and blindly holding. Now in 2018 everything has turned to shit. Week after week of red across the board. Negative news is rampant only now it actually causes crashes. There is hardly anything to look forward to and seemingly no end in sight. I suffer as I continue to see my positions dwindle, hoping to break even at this point.

Super naive. Things were bleaker last year. Now global institutional adoption is pretty much guaranteed, crypto projects are staffed by more and more top tier businesspeople. Back then most of the projects were run by passionate nerds and it was still considered possible that global governments would tank the entire industry. Hindsight is easy if you didn't live through all the FUD we dealt with. In 5 years people will look at the prices of some tokens now and say "Oh it was so easy to make it back then".

It's unironically over, dude. It sucks, I know. Crypto MAY come back, but it's not going to be soon. We just finished a relief rally that didn't even see BTC break $10,000 again. If you haven't done so already, exit all long positions and wait to re-enter once BTC tests the lower part of the $2000-$3000 range; we may go redder than that, but that'll likely be near enough the bottom that it won't be too painful if so.
