It depends heavily on linkpool. People don't really pay enough attention here to the effect that that project will have.
If it works, if there is a user friendly way to stake link for passive income, then not only will tens of millions of link tokens instantly be locked up, but there will be a direct incentive for speculators who are driven by the "masternode" and the "muh passive income" memes.
If it doesn't work, and you actually need to jump through the technical hoops to run your own node, then demand for link tokens will be far, far lower. Whether you plan to use linkpool or not you should be absolutely wishing for its success.
