He didn't travel to Stonehege as a tourist, he traveled to Stonehege as one of the greatest minds since Tesla.

Not only will he set things straight by mid May, he will reactive the portal that Stonehege used be and it will operate on the Bitcoin (Cash) blockchain.

Corecucks and Ethcuck btfo.

Because it's the actual vision of peer to peer electronic cash.
Why are people surprised that a product that was an amazing success for nine years on that vision tanks hard when it falls victim to a subversive campaign to turn it into a settlement network for intermediated state controlled fiat, and the regulatory captured traditional finance and banking industry?
In what parallel universe would one ever imagine the proof of work immune system would not kick in to reject that attack?
Why is anyone surprised about any of this stuff in the least? It should be as obvious as the sun by now. Fuck, I'm surrounded by idiots.

Has anyone done the exact math to establish the necessary daily percentage difference which will provoke a chain freeze? This would be the point at which the next difficulty adjustment is never reached, or let's be more precise and say takes 3 months instead of 2 weeks.

>>9272034
Not sure if you're for real but thanks for the laugh

>> No.9272898

>>9272312
I just did it.
If it drops continuously day over day by 6.7 percent or more starting at a difficulty adjustment, it will never reach the next difficulty adjustment, period. Three months in at that point in time and it will be mining one block every three days and it will be about 50 days to get to DA, but the next day it will be 53 days and even fewer blocks, etc.
That's not that extreme of a drop at all.

>> No.9273006

>>9272898
And to remind everybody, that 6.7 percent can come from either side, so a 3.4 percent drop on btc combined with a 3.4 percent rise in bch would have the same effect.

>> No.9273057

>>9272898
And the miners wont support a btc fork

If anyone is dumb enough to believe that blocks need to 1mb, rbf and segwit you need to get your money out of btc while you can

>> No.9273142

>>9273057
I'm afraid you're right.
I'm also getting a weird black cat Friday the thirteenth vibe from the btc DAA, the point at which it breaks in these situations is extremely close to 6.666666666666 percent per day if you keep messing with the variables. Anyway that's probably just coincidence and silly superstition, the real point is it's quite a small change that kicks this chain freeze off permanently, and people should be aware of that in factoring the risks to their position.

Novogratz is the fucking dumbest rich cunt in the world. He actually believes the store of value meme. How can such a fucking idiot become so wealthy? It wasn't long ago he was shilling a decentralized gaming skin token and everyone on the talkshow was looking at him like he had downs.

I'm glad he's referring to bcore as bitcoin core tho. That means he's accepted bitcoin cash as being bitcoin. Soon other deep pockets will start buying up all the cheap BCH.

>> No.9273702

>>9273411
I don't think the actual mainstream finance industry is the haven for genius it paints itself as. What really seems to be going on is simply regulatory capture and institutionalised malfeasance where they use their position of trust to take advantage of the market to which they have privileged access and extensive social networks regarding. Genuinely revolutionary ideas, especially complex ones based on advanced technology, mathematics or science seem to scare them and they rarely actually understand any of it.
Better to just buy a politician and drop a few billion on the same boring old shit and earn at roughly the place of official inflation figures, or at best some enormous index composed of other actors who are no more competent than them.
