>> No.9237407

By accumulating Bitcoin like that (assuming you sell at 1000 sats) you're playing the "Tron might go to zero in an instant, but Bitcoin won't" card.

But I’m hoping Tron will go to $1. But is it possible for Sats to go up but not dollar value?

Of course it's possible. Imagine TRX is completely decoupled from the rest of the market and it is valued at 1 TRX = 1 USD. If BTC is valued at X BTC/USD, then TRX will be equivalently valued at Y BTC/TRX. But if somehow BTC loses half of its value in a flash crash, then TRX will be valued at 2*Y BTC/TRX --- twice the value in sats --- while maintaining its 1$ value. This happens all the time.

No I’m completely new to crypto and before I try and buy alts I kinda wanna know what in God’s name I should be looking for

>>9237379
you earned 100 satoshi yoshis you stupid kike nigger. do you even math?

>> No.9237667

Because in order to profit from any alt coin you always have to convert back to satoshis (or eth) and then to USD. You are always looking to increase the amount of BTC or ETH rather than the amount of USD, because BTC or ETH is what you at the time of converting to USD.

What is a satoshi yoshi and why do I want them? I can’t cash out in yoshi’s only USD.
I create so many threads shilling various things and I have no idea what the hell im even talking about

most people on biz trade with the intention of stacking as much bitcoin as possible. but yes you can gain sats and lose dollars, lose sats and gain dollars, or be gaining/losing both at the same time.

>> No.9238054

>>9237379
That has to be b8.
But for fags that read this but, thankfully, don't create 201 thread with the same fucking question:
ALTS DO NOT HAVE USD VALUE. AT.FUCKING.ALL
What you see is an imaginary value represented by taking the value of the ALTcoin IN SATS of BTC, and then figuring out how much these SATS would be worth IF alts had a fiat pairing.
But they don't have it because they are not fiat paired. It ain't FOREX.
So:.when BTC goes down, alts go down in sats AND fiat because of BTC pair and the imaginary fiat value. BTC loses value in USD, so do the alts. There's more to that, but shit...DYOR
So TRX can be 1000 or 10000 sats and still be 9c BECAUSE it depends where BTC is in this market.
Always look at BTC, and forget your fiat as soon as you bought in. Count alts value in sats.

You actually unironically cash out in satoshis.
These are, for the simplest explanation, fractions of BTC. Or ETH (ETH sats) or LTC (litoshis)
You cash out in these because these are the only ones having real fiat value.

>ALTS DO NOT HAVE USD VALUE. AT.FUCKING.ALL
Wrong. Both alts/btc and alts/usd matter. Watch both charts.

For a new "trader"?
It's best to learn to forget the fiat value. It will come later anyway.
But when you are so new and so lost that you don't know what satoshi is, then you tell me: is it really a good idea to follow the fiat value?
Oslo, seriously: ETH,LTC, some other bigger ones, but a shitcoin off of IDEX? Why bother with fiat value on that, even later.
I look at fiat value only when comparing (quickly) BTC to ETH on alt pairing. Other than that I have an idea, but, shit why do I need a fiat value on UUU?
Or even the big names(except ETH)?
Asking, not making a statement.

>> No.9238433

The general idea is to earn satoshi because you believe satoshi will go up in value. The reason your trade earned you sats but not dollar is because the price of BTC was going down so you could buy more SATs for the same price. When or if BTC returns to it's old price then you will have more more usd
