You really have to forget everything you know about the cryptocurrency space and give actual fundamental research a chance when it comes to Holochain. You won't see these guys working together with hedge funds, liquidity providers, marketing teams, exchanges, there was no private sale or presale, everyone who bought holo got it for the same price, the team doesn't keep holding most of the tokens hence valuating themselves in the billions, it's a very sincere and original project.

Funny you post this, I was gonna post about this project too.

It's an interesting platform. I learned a lot from listening to a talk Art Brock gave on looking at nature for next gen computing. Quite enjoyable when I was driving around delivering pizza (pays for college).

Another anon linked it to me, so I put it to the side until I had time. It was worth the listen.

It's a bold project and one that might change things up in the crypto space.

I'm still a bit so-so on how much HOT will go up in value given the mechanics of currency in the system, but the work behind it is taking established technology and fusing it with a sharded blockchain like approach.

HOLO has the potential to do hundreds of thousands of TXs/sec at the least. It allows devs to scale how many confirmations are needed before something is accepted by the network depending on the program in use.

It's also aimed at making the blockchain transparent to the end user as credit cards and other forms of payment will work within it. No need to buy crypto through an exchange.

I'm tired, so hopefully that makes sense.
