XBY was one of those rare times where doing what /biz/ says was the best course of action.
I didn't blindly follow /biz/ tho, DMOR and just saw a lot of... not even red flags, I'd say they were black flags.
Even if by some miracle the project actually delivers I won't regret missing out because in that case, the marketing and PR were really terrible and mismanaged.

Yes. I lost everything. The next important date is always 2 weeks away and then turns out to be delayed months at a time. I see nothing in the future for this coin. It was supposed to be a novel platform at the time and it definitely would have been if it was on time. However, the competition has caught up and it is looking like Xtrabytes is dead in the water.

This. Even if it's not a scam and XBY delivers a working product, the chances of it being successful are diminishing every day.
Remember that you didn't lose everything, anon. If I were you I'd cut my losses and try to recover in other projects - not telling you to do it right now by selling the bottom, there will probably be a final pump to at least 1.5k - 2k sats range, maybe 3k.
I also bought near the top but sold my stack at only a 40% loss. The last straws for me were the Seychelles registration and finding out the current logo was stolen from a social network app.
